AP#7 is here!
thanks Ric Downing. Ash sharma, Niamh Serendipity and Bekkie Sanchez!

Etched on pages..

The book of life
As the new chapter unfolds
The mystery elevates..
Fools be told of hidden pasts
Not knowing that they never last
Turn the page right this way...
Woven into words
Victories and tragedies
A chapter closes!
Next page please
 as this one bleeds
Of stolen hearts
with trustful fingers
My mind just sits here
 and wants to linger.
Flipping to the other side
I spy something that might arise
Interests and a hearty story
Of hidden truths and distant glories.
Glory is a myth
Perpetuated for real
Stories of blood lies
Deep with scandal of lustrous
Sexual perversions abound
where a Lover's kiss becomes
More than just a bedroom trist
Back door, hall way.. run thru here
Wooden stairs ...go down there
The book is written
with blood, sweat and tears-
fettered by frailties.
Ink dries on the pages
Smeared with blood and pain
An etched memory!

I HAD TO LET YOU GO..

You love me, I know it
but now you need to show me
I need to know your feelings
before I set you free.

don't take it as a threat
I don't want to let you go
you keep your heart in secret
when there's so much you could show.

Be brave - take a chance
to let your heart open wide...
It's worth it! So many possibilities
if you choose not to hide

Love is a flower
that blossoms in trust
nurtured with tender care
as one loving soul !!!

And so I say good bye
but only for a twinkling
I keep you in my heart
if you ever have the inkling.

It hurts me to go
more than you could know
don't let me slip away
wanting your love, your nights and days..

If I find someone new
I know that you can feel it
remember it was once you
but now we just don't fit.

Why it happened
My heart knows not
All it knows
You can't be in its space
Any more!

we know love is often brief
the higher the flame,
I  lit the wick for you
you, snuffed it out!

Yet not before its light
Had been reflected
In your loving eyes
That one last time

You kept that look alive
Couldn't let it go
It was the same for me
Yet I knew the reason...

LIKE IT GOES ON...

Like the wind doesn't stop
 flowing in its course
Like  the sun never fails
to turn up everyday
Like the flowers never forget to bloom...

Like Heart never forgets its beat
or blood through veins to course
Like eyes never forgets the newness
of dawn
Like true Love never ends...

Like rivers that flow to the sea
Meandering on their way
Like birds that sing
Their chorus to the dawn sun rising
Like words that charms our souls...

Like lovers that kiss
such passionate bliss
Like children that laugh
unending moments of innocence
Like diamonds dispersion
rainbows diverse with color
Like crayons creating original design
Artists fashion from an intricate eye  ...

Like the changing seasons
The rising and setting sun
The spinning earth itself
Song of the never ending universe

Like the cycle of sadness
Gives way to happy moments
Like we never realize how life works
it goes on and on...

THE CANVAS OF LIFE!

Why do we need to mask our souls
With the colors of the world
When the hues of life are enough
To paint our canvas?

Why not do we let colors own, instead
Paint vibrant,the vast vast world
With strokes of joy and laughter
Give and receive love, thus?

Paint flowers in between those hearts
Fill the gaps with broken color
Harmonious colors to heal the world
Mixed with friendship and good nature.

Show these flowers to the world
Let them know the beauty of your art
Open it up with vigor
For it reflects your own soul.

Your soul being of reflection
is complete if your soul is whole
There in that field
 will numerous flowers bloom

And in fantasy never wilt
Waiver or decay
But bloom repeatedly, eternity
measured in non existent days

Mud and rain has been splattered
On the windows of my soul
Tears and pain leave bloodstains smeared
Across the ledge and inner walls
 of consciousness and unconsciousness

Paint and make-up conceal cracks
and make smooth the wrinkles that
material wealth tries to hide
Truth is reflected through silver shades of miscarriage
while darkness smothers all justice

Why don't we embrace our many tasks
and once colored trade them happily
Each of us wearing the mask of another
on this day each of us will be fully understood.

Standing together we hold hands against the dark
Heal and change many colors together
Making a flesh rainbow of our bodies
Stretching forever into the heavens above.

Or in reality know
This color is the range of colors
and be content with the canvas
we are as self
and then we hold each hand
and love its paint as well!

While painting the vision of our multi beings
in and on life as a picture and hope our stories
are told in proper regard
No less colorful than each one of us are!

But if it's left to hope
then we may find
That our combination of colors
will never be in fashion

So we must rise and strive beyond hope
To create with those colors
Our own finished work
from this expectation!

Broaden your palette
Increase your shades to blend
whether pastel or vibrant
for both are needed,necessary
just as light and dark are!

Revealing colors in rainbow's
 promise of infinity
unending, uncompromising unity,love transcendent
Luminous reflection of each other.

I see you, you see me
Interpretations of light
in colors inexplicable
Understood only by the heart!

Just Go With It

If I could roll with it,
just stop-
change direction
and go with it.
No holding back
just grow with it
start again and
flow with it.

If I could hold it
Alone in walking with it
not toe to heel mimic
but heel to toe with it

If I could
stumbling
stuttering,sputtering
and
Smiling all the while

If I could mold it
into a vision beautiful
Mystery it would be
Numbing me

If I could
once hold it
let it be all i envision
Tear it from dreams
make it reality!

If I could chase it
I would go miles away
My eye glued
My senses sewed
To its splendid beauty

If I could keep it
Ages would pass
Yet it would remain
And I would smile
Mesmerized by its worth!

If I could just roll with it
and when I catch it
become enthralled with it
I would like to  break some
 laws with it-
then spin around
and fall down with it

I never have a frown with it!

KUDOS FOR A SUCH A LOVELY POEM!

WHICH DIRECTION TO GO?

She sits on the platform
A piece of bread she eats
Breaking it into crumbs
Chewing as if it was a grand meal

She shares her crumbs with the birds
Surrounding her
For a meager bite

Her day is like any other
Grey,with a chance of hunger
Cold,with a chance of misery
As she sits on the platform waiting

For a train she can't afford
Rail travel the preserve of rich men
She has never left her district
Her hunger is no game

But that hunger bites
So this bread is a feast
That's why she sits here daily

Begging the world for a change
The changing world feeding in the street
Flattened by the car tire
So for a seat on the wire

To where her hunger leads
Whichever way wire or dead
On the street
Who will know?

Flying high
Flying low
Risking life
No direction to go!

A way to turn from
Reality has but one option
Ahead..

But no option could satisfy
The answers she craves to know
Her destiny is not an accident
She was forced to go with the flow

She was born on a waiting list
Her path mapped out
A prisoner of her family status
She envied their freedom

Though emancipation would never be hers
it was not that kind of world
She would always be the underdog
But she knew this could never be changed.

Though change was what she dreamed of
And beautiful dreams they were
Utopian wonderlands, where pure clean rivers flowed
No one could take her dreams from her!

Her day suddenly brightened like after a dark storm
As her dreams supplied her with a smile
She might be a second hand citizen
But she would show them...

Tears roll down her face
Cheeks as red as an apple
No smiles from her today

As  she walks towards a church
To praise heaven before her
Flight finally taken to place
A destination fleeting many miles
Weary wings rest,her nest embraced!

I REMEMBER THE DAY...

I remember the day
When you first came in my sight
An intoxicating smile
An aura so pleasant
You caught my eye
And then my heart
 I remember the day
when everything changed
I wanted it badly
I longed for your touch
A night on the beach
A magic carpet ride!

I remember that day
And more about that night
Made love to you madly
I couldn't get enough
I’m smiling when I cry
It’s when my love did start
Made love to you madly
That night you made me realize
I remember the day was great!

I remember that day
We were so versatile
Your heart was in my reach
Missing it each time I tried
You gave me it as a present
And you mine in exchange
Giving you my heart gladly
It was such a surprise
As if guided by fate

I remember that day we cried
Happy tears of joy
Running down our faces
The ring was a symbol
Of a new beginning
The kiss of a promise or more
I remember how I felt that day
The beauty before me
Radiant and gay
The future ahead unknown
But my heart skipping merely
Thinking of how we could play

I remember the day
Those flowers
You kissed my hand
Held my heart captive
Within your smile
I remember how we were
love as deep as your kisses
I felt the moment reached deep
As the deep blue sea

I remember the first time
we made love
The passion in your touch
Our bodies came together hard
Such sweet movements
Turning into muffled cries
 I remember the first time
The kiss of true love
So glad it did not end
A night of romance
Giving way to the passion
Of emotion made real

I remember the day
You said it was the wine
Though I knew better
I felt what is real
You are my darling
And will always be.
I remember the days
I remember the nights
Although you are gone
Your memories will never sublime!
