KUDOS FOR A SUCH A LOVELY POEM!

WHICH DIRECTION TO GO?

She sits on the platform
A piece of bread she eats
Breaking it into crumbs
Chewing as if it was a grand meal

She shares her crumbs with the birds
Surrounding her
For a meager bite

Her day is like any other
Grey,with a chance of hunger
Cold,with a chance of misery
As she sits on the platform waiting

For a train she can't afford
Rail travel the preserve of rich men
She has never left her district
Her hunger is no game

But that hunger bites
So this bread is a feast
That's why she sits here daily

Begging the world for a change
The changing world feeding in the street
Flattened by the car tire
So for a seat on the wire

To where her hunger leads
Whichever way wire or dead
On the street
Who will know?

Flying high
Flying low
Risking life
No direction to go!

A way to turn from
Reality has but one option
Ahead..

But no option could satisfy
The answers she craves to know
Her destiny is not an accident
She was forced to go with the flow

She was born on a waiting list
Her path mapped out
A prisoner of her family status
She envied their freedom

Though emancipation would never be hers
it was not that kind of world
She would always be the underdog
But she knew this could never be changed.

Though change was what she dreamed of
And beautiful dreams they were
Utopian wonderlands, where pure clean rivers flowed
No one could take her dreams from her!

Her day suddenly brightened like after a dark storm
As her dreams supplied her with a smile
She might be a second hand citizen
But she would show them...

Tears roll down her face
Cheeks as red as an apple
No smiles from her today

As  she walks towards a church
To praise heaven before her
Flight finally taken to place
A destination fleeting many miles
Weary wings rest,her nest embraced!

I REMEMBER THE DAY...

I remember the day
When you first came in my sight
An intoxicating smile
An aura so pleasant
You caught my eye
And then my heart
 I remember the day
when everything changed
I wanted it badly
I longed for your touch
A night on the beach
A magic carpet ride!

I remember that day
And more about that night
Made love to you madly
I couldn't get enough
I’m smiling when I cry
It’s when my love did start
Made love to you madly
That night you made me realize
I remember the day was great!

I remember that day
We were so versatile
Your heart was in my reach
Missing it each time I tried
You gave me it as a present
And you mine in exchange
Giving you my heart gladly
It was such a surprise
As if guided by fate

I remember that day we cried
Happy tears of joy
Running down our faces
The ring was a symbol
Of a new beginning
The kiss of a promise or more
I remember how I felt that day
The beauty before me
Radiant and gay
The future ahead unknown
But my heart skipping merely
Thinking of how we could play

I remember the day
Those flowers
You kissed my hand
Held my heart captive
Within your smile
I remember how we were
love as deep as your kisses
I felt the moment reached deep
As the deep blue sea

I remember the first time
we made love
The passion in your touch
Our bodies came together hard
Such sweet movements
Turning into muffled cries
 I remember the first time
The kiss of true love
So glad it did not end
A night of romance
Giving way to the passion
Of emotion made real

I remember the day
You said it was the wine
Though I knew better
I felt what is real
You are my darling
And will always be.
I remember the days
I remember the nights
Although you are gone
Your memories will never sublime!
